Dr. Melinda A. Wallace

Dr. Wallace is the Executive Director for Process Review and Financial Compliance. She has worked in higher education for 13 years. Melinda serves as internal consultant to ensure continuous process improvement to Shared Administrative Services departments. In her current role, she evaluates project budgets and reports, builds internal and external relationships, and serves as compliance subject matter expert for process reviews. With over 25 years of Business Management experience, her public and private sector business knowledge includes healthcare operations, state government, pharmaceutical and medical device research, and most recently higher education. Melinda received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Alabama in Commerce and Business Administration and later completed an Executive MBA program that included studies in China and Vietnam at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She completed a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration at the University of Alabama and currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor of Management in the Culverhouse College of Business.
